Doce Pares Eskrima

Eskrima is a weapons style from the Phillippines. Includes double stick, single stick, knife, empty hand and espada y daga (sword and knife) techniques.


Taught by 8 time World Champion and 9th Degree Black Belt Grandmaster Steve Wolk on Mondays at 7pm. 


Taught by 4 time World Champion and 5th Degree Black Belt Master Tim Wolchek on Fridays at 6:30pm. 


Learn authentic Doce Pares Eskrima from Doce Pares International instructors, certified and accredited by Supreme Grandmaster Dionisio Canete in Cebu City, Philippines to teach Doce Pares Eskrima. 


All instructors have earned their rank directly from Grandmasters Dong Cuesta and Steve Wolk. GM Cuesta is the head instructor of PIMA in New Jersey and is a teacher to film students at New York University as well. He is one of SGM Canete’s top students and has been teaching in America since 1981. Grandmaster Steve Wolk is one of GM Cuesta’s top students, earning 8 World Championships in Full Contact Stick Fighting through WEKAF. Since moving to Colorado GM Steve Wolk has trained many Black Belts and many World, National, and Regional Champions in WEKAF Style Fighting, too numerous to mention. GM Steve Wolk was the first non Filipino to be awarded the rank of 9th Degree Black Belt Grandmaster by SGM Diony Canete. We bring GM Cuesta out for seminars and belt testing regularly. Master Tim Wolchek is a 4 time World Champion and 5th Degree Black Belt under GM Cuesta and GM Wolk, all certified by SGM Canete in the Philippines.
